Vespasian always had an over the top liking for Bug pokemon, as a small child he could often be found playing in the forest looking for and finding many Bug Pokemon, as a matter of fact all of his pokemon were caught before he even went to school. Ves rose quickly as a devastating Bug hitter and swept the Tayoo region as a top trainer, it wasn't long before he became a Gym Leader and he has kept his title for 5 years now.
